I believe Rudy will win in 2008 because he has most of New York backing him and New York has a great deal of Electoral College votes. He gained a tremendous amount of respect on 9/11. I personally could imagine Mitt Romney being his vice-president.

Wishful thinking! New York is a blue state! Both of these guys are going to be "also rans". Democrats will be taking over the White House..,.you'll see.

I would prefer it the other way around. Actually Rudy is not my 2nd choice either. He's below Romney Hunter and Tancredo.

My guess is he would choose a social conservative for "balance". I wouldn't rule out romney, but my gut feeling is he won't pick any of his major rivals.
