Wouldn't you feel a bit safer if the person who committed a crime against you was apprehended? Like bin ladin for instance as he plotted 9/11. He is the real threat not some civil war in iraq that is costing us billions.

Like where has Bin Laden been?

The guy loves, loves, loves, the spot-light, He has been "gone" for many years, not one sighting.

Do you really think if the USA did get him Al Queda would admit.

Face Bin Laden was blown to bits in the mountains of Afghanistan.

In Newsweek the article said how the war was weakening the terrorist forces. That is the goal. If we get bin laden and quit then what? Right now the terrorists choose to fight in Iraq do lets kill them there.

As for the billions we spent just a bit more on the war then we spend in a year on illegal aliens. Yet you blow no smoke about that.

It's very easy to say "let's capture him" Far harder to do!!
He has millions of followers who will lie, steal, sell drugs and kill to support him and A Qaeda. He has states who will allow him to operate from and safely live in.
A precision guided 500 lb Bomb would be nice to drop on him, BUT you have to find him and positively ID him first.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was the main ringleader, and we caught his jihadist behind. But really, Osama is just one person, and there are plenty of other terrorists out there that we need to also focus on.
