I'm usually not fully dressed enough to be seen in public. But I know they make those drive thrus where you can not get out of the line without going over the curve and running over trees and bushes. I've sat in lines long enough but I don't think as long as you!

That really stinks...it's supposed to be faster! I use the drive thru because it's hard for me to walk (bad ankles) so once I get in the car, I go for the food, then go home with it, get it inside, then I can eat in peace, without being stared at. And you want a slow timekiller? Try Whataburger. We spent our entire lunch hour there once. In the drivethru. People were being served inside, but they didn't have time to do ours, I guess. After 20 minutes, the guy tried to collect our money, and we said, no, let's see the food first, we've been here 20 minutes...he looked kind of funny and walked away, and it was another 35 minutes before anyone came back with food!

Wow, that's awful. How about this one: me and a friend of mine sat in the McDonald's drive thru for ten minutes without them saying anything to us. At all. It was 9:00 at night on a Friday so we were almost certain they were open. All the lights were on and eveything. Come to find out, they really were closed. After the cussing out I gave them that night for running up the gas in my pick-up truck, they now make damn sure those lights are off when they're closed!

America as a whole is lazy, why go to the grocery store when you can waste your gas sitting in drive thru and eliminate a healthier lifestyle, yeah its quick and easy, but at what cost, your arteries ehh...who needs em anyway

I go through it because it's supposed to be fast food, lol. I would have never sat there as long as you did. I probably would not have even gone inside, I would have figured there was a big problem, and if I had not reached the window to pay yet I would have pulled out of line and gone somewhere else.

I can't stand getting in and out of the car, but I also wouldn't wait over an hour at a drivethru.
