If you look at Bush's approval rating in NYC it is very low. But if you look in the south it's a lot higher. You would think it would be higher in NYC because of 911 where people were directly affected. How come people thousands of miles away have such a dissenting view of the people the attack really affected. No one from the South lost anyone in the attack. How can they be so Pro Bush and Pro war when they didn't loose anyone close to them. The South doesn't have to worry about terror only big cities do.

Wow I'm stunned that it's low in NYC. Who woulda thunk it, huh. He is the President and he deserves our support. Just because whiney little babies would rather kick and scream doesn't change that.

There are many big cities in the South, and we all North South East and West feel compassion for what happenned in New York on 9/11/2000, And Bush's low ratings are throughout the country. So why don't you stop your nonsense and get your facts straight before you print any more garbage.

Let me know when Bush goes after the people that caused 9/11. Then the ratings may go up. Till then, they will continue to drop.

The South support any cons as long as they have a pulse.

1. NYC is mostly liberal and the South is conservative.
2. Not just New York was affected by 9/11.
3. The South is the Bible Belt, a very conservative and religious are and Bush is supposed to be a devout Christian and he is a conservative.

the south lost a lot in the 9-11 attacks just like the whole country not just NYC maybe the people who are so close to the 9-11 attacks see just how ineffective mr. bush is or maybe they just dont like any politicians who use them as an excuse to go to finish their dad's war. maybe the south knows that bush is already in office and make the best of a bad thing

sorry to debunk..but the NY Times has done a number on Bush..NYC has always been the City that liked politicos like Cuomo..and everyone else in the entire Country looked at him as a weasel.

the South has been anti-liberal..and see the angry left
for what it is..delusional and pathological

you'd be a great reference point on Rudy

Most people in NY are partisan liberals that don't like the idea of a Christian evangelical in office. The thought of having one as president who is also a Republican is repugnant to them. They would support an Islamist if he voted democrat. That is how twisted that group of people seem to me. It doesn't surprise me a bit that the south would support the interests of the US and free people in the world nor does it surprise me that the liberals in NY wouldn't.

Lincolns was pretty bad too. I don't make my judgment based on the opinion of the people who get their opinion from newspapers and go along with the crowd just to feel popular. I don't need affirmation of my own worth. I think for myself, I do my own research and come to my own logical conclusion. this is not easy in the barrage of today's world of BS tabloid media.

Unlike what people like to think you don't have to support the president. That's why we live in America, that's why we protests wars.

The next time someone says he is our president and we have to support him, kick them in the groin.
