I can only guess as to the reason, but here are some ideas:
1. Your question seemed like you were fooling around and didn't need answers.
2. No one knew the answer to your question.
3. Your question was too clearly you seeking attention.
4. You ask a lot of pointless questions and people have realized you don't rate answers.

I think if you get unlucky your question zooms right off the top board where the chatty people lurk and then it's missed altogether.
I've only asked a couple questions and didn't get many answers myself, so if you're hated, then I am too.

Are you asking too many of them and people are tired of seeing them? Are you asking dumb questions? I know I've seen people say alot of times if they are questions like, Am I pretty? etc... they dont even bother checking the question out.
