I'm noticing alot of slander towards all types of races on answers any more... come on folks!!! lets just settle this... if you could have choosen your race and ehtniticity what would it be? and why?

and i didnt post this to cause any disturbance, i simply wanted to see what percentage of the large population is happy as they are, and so far looks like A HUGE percent, which is a God send and very comforting!

Im 100% Italian and i love it! i guess im used to it after all these years, so it would be hard to think something else, but Indian woman are gorgeous, as are anyone from the islands or southpacific...well everyone is, but if i had a choice those would be in there somewhere, along with egyptian!
but im proud to be Italiano, the only thing is, i work with people day in and out and when the hear my last name, they automatically think "mob" or "mafia"

Actually in the whole scheme of things the majority DID choose before we were born...a few had to either choose to be born or not and if they wanted to be born 'quickly' they could then choose to take what they could get.
Keeping in mind of course if one is open to all the spiritual possibilites, etc -- such as reincarnation/rebirth.
Some of us are here to learn lessons and clear karma; some of us are here to help others, help the planet, learn lessons and clear karma.

Although we complaint that we wish we had better complexion or different textured hair, or other appearances, I'm happy to see that people are looking past the 'book covers". This is great! With so many people in counseling because they don't like themselves, it is sooo good to see that the majority really wouldn't change things. This was just a fantasy question so don't anybody get up in arms over it! Because we come from Connecticut my mother would tease and say we are just Swamp Yankees. That's pretty funny! But, I would have preferred to have some nationality to celebrate - Irish; Portugese; French. But no, she said we are just American and that's all that matters. No prejudice in our household.

That's their stupidity-not yours.
I'm part Italian,Irish, Swedish and I'm very proud of my heritage.
I'm also very proud to be related to the people in my family(well, most of them..LOL)
I wouldn't have it any other way.
I've never been envious of any ethnicity.
Proud to be who I am! Since when is that wrong?

I am very proud of my heritage, and I wouldn't change it. I am 1/4 Polish, 1/4 Slovak, and my father's heritage is mostly unknown. I think that every nationality has merit and there are wonderful traditions, proud histories, and national accomplishments by members of all nationalities. I don't think my heritage is better than anyone else's. I just think it is special and different, just like every other nationality.

i don't really know I'd probably just want to be my Jamaican self. I don't have any problems with any race at all, why can't people just get along instead of fighting. Where is the love ya'll?

I really don't care. I think all black women are awesomely beautiful, and wish I could have been black sometimes. But what people say to them and how they're treated? Not good. I do wish I could be one thing or the other, not "part this/part that"... that would have been nice.
