Probably not a good idea. There are some things best left to the imagination, and that's one of them. I have a close female friend who loves to talk on her cell phone. Occasionally she'll continue her conversation with me while she's on the toilet peeing. Kinda creeps me out a little.

It's the way to go when we talk about gender equality in teh 21st century.

Lol, I wud be bit embarrassed if my John stands up on seeing beautiful girl(s) in the co-ed restroom.

If it's a one person toilet, why not. If it's more than one person, that's sick and wrong. Gender equality has nothing to do with bathrooms. But i guess i'm just one of those right-wing conservative conspiracy theorist that left wing, tree-hugging hippie that won't let us defend ourselves is talking about. And if its co-ed, how does that make it faster? Wouldn't that make it more people?

I always feel uncomfortable using co-ed bathrooms as I'm a guy who uses my foot to lift the seat and to flush. Plus, no matter how accurate I am standing up, there's always some splashback.

I'm sorry ladies.

Would probably be fine, but very weird, at least for me, as I'm so used to guys having different bathrooms in public than women.

Completely for it! I mean I am sick of society separating and labelling people.'Me woman, you man', it is silly. And looking at how some of the washrooms are placed now, it is clear to see the separation, the 'Male' washroom is at one end, and the 'Female' on at the other end....

I know a lot of people are strongly against it! Some of their reasons being, privacy, maturity, and I have heard people say that more paedophiles will go after children.

Well, I mean there are stalls, so everyone will have privacy, and guys already pee in front of one another..and just because there are women there really doesn't make a difference, i mean its not like the guys wave it around..and we all know they have em' ha ha.
The maturity thing, I mean I am 18 and i go into females washrooms, and encounter 12 year olds, being soo stupid, playing with pads. no matter the gender there is going to be stupid people.
And the paedophile thing, is completely stupid, I mean what about the male paedophiles that go after little boys..or females going after females, it can happen now, just as much as it could happen in a co-ed washroom,

Point: I strongly support bringing people together not separating them.

I'd prefer to retain gender-segregated bathrooms myself. I'm uncomfortable enough taking a leak in public with other women.

Co-ed bathrooms are already at many gas stations. I love it since I'm fast and hated waiting for women with children to do whatever it is they were all doing in the restroom.

As far as I can see, society has not come to an end, like those who fought the ERA said would happen if the ERA "forced" society to offer co-ed restrooms. Another crazy gender stereotype and hyped-up ultra conservative right-wing nutty idea debunked.

Do you not have kids? I have three daughters and don't really like the idea that any one of them would be in the bathroom any where with their pants down when dirty, perverted , nasty men could be in the restroom with them and possibly be watching them while they pee.

Sure, why not.

I have to say I was surprised at some of the women's answers. I never expected some of the comments from the gals being comfortable with the situation.
