No, trynna is not a good word for me. You see, I believe it means Try the National Nerd Association. Only members know for sure. I take it you are one? :-) I mean it all in jest!

Word, or name? If it's a word, I'll need a meaning. If it's a name -- well, you capitalize your sentences, so maybe not -- but it seems labored. (I feel sorry for people who have to say the spelling of their names throughout their lives.)

Btw, "Katrina," a top-200 name in the U.S. in the 1990s (about one in a thousand babies were given the name), was blown from #246 in 2005 to #382 in 2006, according to the Social Security Administration. It first appeared among the top 1000 girls' names in 1945, and peaked in popularity in the 80s, at #101 for that decade.

(Before Hurricane Katrina, there was Camille in '69 ... and that year and the next, Camille rode a 20-year-high in popularity as a girl's name.)

Went to school with a girl named Katrina....

I just found the Katrina business interesting. So is TRYNNA a word or a name?

It's like this conversation:

"Uh uh. Squeet!"
"K."

English? Doesn't look like it. But can you understand it? Sure you can!

Cute..."trynna" is slang for "trying to", as in "Trynna Finda Way", from Nelly Furtado's debut album "Whoa, Nelly!"
