after much brainstroming, we have FINALLY come up with a way to honor both of our mother's if we have a girl!!

Our oldest son is named after both of his grandfathers and we wanted to do the same for our oldest daughter. We have finally come up with a combination of their two names (Janette and Doreen) for our daughter's middle name...it will be Janeen (which means God is gracious) :)

we aren't 100% decided on a first name. We are narrowing it down from three choices:

Bridget
Fiona
Rowan

My husband is scottish (and proud of it lol) and our other children both have gaelic names, so we are going to be choosing a gaelic first name for our daughter as well :) I am leaning towards Rowan.

Wow. I'm shocked! Those names are in my top 5 baby girl name list! You have great taste in names! My favorite is Rowan. So cute! But my hubby doesn't like it so I doubt we can actually use it...but you should totally use it! I'm jealous!

Nice middle name and good idea. Too bad it won't work with my mother and mother in law's name. I like Bridget for the first name- it is so classic. Fiona is nice but has the Shrek connection now. I thought Rowan was a boy's name?

I think Rowan Janeen is an awesome name. And the fact that Janeen has such a great meaning is even better :)

Out of the 3 first names... I'm leaning towards Rowan.... but maybe that's because it's my married last name :)

Rowan is definitely the best of the first names!!! Love it....nice job! = )

Middle name goes nice with it, too.
