I have had this happen to me many times at work. Some men are complete pigs, and I don't know how their wives can either stand it or not know that they are married to a pork product. I hate it, and I wish I could kick them in the nuts, but at the same time, I am afraid to say anything for fear of losing my job. I just really let it go in one ear and out the other, but if anyone touches me, all hell is going to hear about it, no one puts their filthy paws on me.

The best definition is probably: Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favours. A request for a sexual favour is well defined, however this "sexual advances" is not and is culture related.
Actually most the definitions of sexual harassments I have read are vague.
All what you mentioned may or may not be sexual harassment.
For example, under normal circumstances, why would a sex joke be considered so? Same goes for the others.
A co-worker comes into the office the other day. She had done her hair. Nobody of us guys noticed, and she was like "I can't believe you haven't noticed!". Now let's pretend we noticed and commented on her "beautiful hair", will that be sexual harassment?
So, yes, you made your point Milky. This is a vague issue.

Well , didn't sadness express herself clearly ? Yes, I can well imagine what it is like , the added pressure that it places on a woman ....as if there isn't enough already !
Our office has been like a bordello at different times . I was totally blind to what was going on & was always the last to know ...usually when things fell apart & the tears were flowing !
To my mind , any uninvited attention is a form of harrassment ! By the same token , isn't it sad that we can no longer use gentle touch or words without coming under suspicion of our motives ! I guess it's a sign of the times we live in !

I agree totally with saye3ba7r.
The sexual harassement is not only in 1 way.....it happens from women to men also. We all think about it as from men to women, but in England many cases have been taken to the Court for men against female co-workers.
BTW saye3ba7r......in the movie wasnt Demi Moore.............was Sharon Stone, but the result is the same.

it incredibly is a tragic concern whilst young ones in basic terms can't be spontaneous with one yet another any further. yet, the actuality is that for the duration of immediately of sexual predators surprising around colleges or in basic terms out on the streets, any undesirable touch between members of the alternative intercourse is talked approximately as sexual harassment. young ones would desire to study the adaptation till now than we ever did. Why precisely have been his palms interlocked round her neck? that in basic terms approximately sounds extra risky than him by twist of destiny touching her breast. to no longer point out the actuality that infants will say what desires to be reported and not a lot extra. meaning, if certainly your son had intentions of touching her "indecently," he's with the help of no ability going to allow you to comprehend! you're his mom! he will in basic terms bypass over somewhat some information. attempt to take an extremely independent look on the situation. additionally, look on the actuality that there have been different activities. i'm particular the crucial would be chuffed to coach you her documentation. possibly even wanting to coach you. specifically situations our infants are no longer as harmless as we would elect to have self belief.

Being the only one not having an "office affair" ;p
No seriously, everything they've all said above.
Usually, most companies have their own internal guidelines....otherwise,refer to the legal legislations through your local authority (i.e ministry of labor and employments..etc)
