I am pro-life

"The cervix is dilated and forceps with sharp metal jaws are used to grasp the arms, legs, head, and torso of the baby which are twisted and torn away. Often the skull must be crushed to facilitate removal. Parts must carefully be removed due to sharp edges which can lacerate the uterus and cause further bleeding/complications."

Yes, several different methods depending on how far along the baby is.

I think most pro-choice people simply avoid thinking about it because they just don't want to know.
But as you obviously know, the process is quite appalling.

um, in the first trimester, the fetus is removed via vacuum aspiration. second and third trimester abortions are either a d&e, where the fetus is dismembered then removed, or an intact d&x, where the fetus is delivered whole, but must have the skull collasped. does that answer your question? oh and your description is correct, but just know that the fetus doesn't feel pain nor is conscious because of the anesthetic given to the woman. some clinics even euthanize the fetus humanely by giving it a shot to stop the heart.

Abortion has been induced by various methods.
-Spontaneous abortion
Spontaneous abortions, generally referred to as miscarriages, occur when an embryo or fetus is lost due to natural causes before the 20th week of gestation. A pregnancy that ends earlier than 37 weeks of gestation, if it results in a live-born infant, is known as a "premature birth". -When a fetus dies in the uterus at some point late in gestation, beginning at about 20 weeks, or during delivery, it is termed a "stillbirth". Premature births and stillbirths are generally not considered to be miscarriages although usage of these terms can sometimes overlap.
-Induced abortion
A pregnancy can be intentionally aborted in many ways. The manner selected depends chiefly upon the gestational age of the fetus, in addition to the legality, regional availability, and doctor-patient preference for specific procedures.
-Surgical abortion
In the first twelve weeks, suction-aspiration or vacuum abortion is the most common method.[13] Manual vacuum aspiration, or MVA abortion, consists of removing the fetus or embryo by suction using a manual syringe, while the Electric vacuum aspiration or EVA abortion method uses an electric pump. These techniques are comparable, differing in the mechanism used to apply suction, how early in pregnancy they can be used, and whether cervical dilation is necessar

At first I thought you were for.... your bad. I was going to say shame on you. But now that I see your against. Bravo it's true there is a head attached to the babies body. Might as well have the pro choice explain. How they go about taking apart an unborn defenseless child. Who can't even cry for help. I'm giving you a star. When I hear people say they are pro choice ...I think no they are pro death. The choice was made when they decided on having sex. I like the title of your question pro abortion because the so called pro choice people say what they might. It is an abortion. The only way it isn't, is if one loses the child without having purposely caused it harm. I read what you wrote about how it's done. To think society doesn't do that to known killers. Yet it is legal to do on little unborn babies.

so youre asking for "pro-abortion" answers in what is really cloaked as a "pro-life" stance. Well, by the looks of your avatar, if you are indeed a male, then you don't have to worry about abortion, because you will never need one since you can't become pregnant. Now why dont you go and stir some hate on another topic? that would probably be much more productive for you. Have a nice day.

There's a big difference between pro abortion and pro choice. You need counseling.

No one is pro abortion. So you may want to try and wrap your sad little mind around that. We are for the government keeping their noses out of our private lives.
