Hi all,
so ive noticed this tiny, soft red lesion on my vulva for the past several months. It's very small, no itch, no pain...nothing but the fact that it's there. I honestly don't know how long it's been there, but ive only noticed it maybe 3 or 4 months ago. It looked like it might be filled with some blood b/c it was a reddish, dark brown color. Just last night while i was taking a shower, i noticed that it started to bleed. I must've nicked it with my nail or something..i don't know. But boy did it bleed and for something that small!! It would not stop bleeding! It was just bright red blood literally dripping into the tub. This has never happened to me before. I am not sexually active so STD's are out of the question. Does anyone have any idea what this is? The lesion was probably about the size of a pencil point. Very small. The only thing i can think of, which is pretty extreme is vulvar cancer. Do any of u guys know what this is? Has this ever happened to u? Thanks..

You need to see your ob/gyn. This could be something that can be treated with simple medication and the worrying would be over. Do not wait though. Go now.

An example: a male friend had a lump on his testicle. He was a hypochondriac and immediately thought testicular cancer, but had a fear of actual diagnosis. He waited two years. When he finally saw a Dr., his blood pressure was in the "Stroke Alert" zone. After the Dr. told him he had an enlarged VEIN, his blood pressure fell rapidly.

He could have given himself a stroke or heart attack because he waited.

Go now.

I had something similar..i kept messing with it, and it opened up and bled the same way, it was just like an ingrown hair. But you have to be very careful about sores like that , that last for months...it could be some sort of cancer, god -forbid. But if the sore went away after it opened and it isnt reocurring, i would assume it was just a cyst type thing, or ingrown haor, or something simple. Just kep an eye on it

Show to your Gynaecologists / Dermatologist. Unless & until it is seen by expert person, you will not receive proper treatment. On internet, one can get information after diagnosis which may prove useful but surely Diagnosis can not be made. In Clinical Practice, any doctor even after Physical Examination, has a set of Differential Diagnosis( means there are more than one options, one needs to exclude, ) & therefore some Pathology Tests may be needed!

It sounds like a basic cyst under the skin that can be caused by a clogged hair folicle. They are usually harmless, but can be painful . The skin in that area is usually tougher so it's hard for it to pop on it's own. When it does pop it then goes away shortly afterwards. So don't worry

I wouldn't try to fix my teeth, I'd go to a dentist. Since you don't know how to fix lesions on your vulva, go to your GYN, let her have a look at it and decided what to do. If it was cancer, nicking it and making it bleed, was definitely the wrong thing to do. Leave it alone, and get yourself to the GYN office.

if you are a virgin, then it is not an STD, but if you have had sex in the past then it is possible that it could be genital warts (from the no pain perspective). it sometimes takes a little while for actual symptoms of STDs to show up (and sometimes no symptoms ever present themselves.)

if you are unsure, go to a gynocologist and ask them specifically about the bump. not a nurse practitioner, or even your regular doctor, as they will not know.
the same thing happened to one of my friends, a nurse practitioner as well as her general practitioner told her it was nothing to be worried about, and a few years later, her gyno told her she had warts, and cervical dysplasia (pre-cancerous cells) that had gone untreated and unmonitored, due to the previous medical advice she had recieved.
(if you are a virgin, i apologize for the rant, lol)

go to a doctor. :)

ok, in case you reside in a woodland, it truly is lymes affliction. And ringworm does not constantly itch, so do no longer vote it out so rapid. it truly is a pimple. yet you likely dont go with to talk on your mothers and fathers approximately it do you? i does no longer b/c im 13 too. in basic terms take a delicate moistureizer and rub it on gently. i are conscious of it hurts yet wash it in lots of situations like whilst in a shower. clean your backside and anticipate a whilst. -wish it enables.
