10 yards = 30 feet

The ratio of 16 feet to 10 yards is thus 16 to 30.
All you need to do once the units match is simplify the ratio.

16:30 = 8:15

16 feet : 10 yards
= 16 feet : 30 feet
= 16:30

When the units are the same on each side of the equation, you can cancel them from the ratio.
