Mankind's high value on life is there for a reason....it may be Mother Nature's way of asking for help in the preservation of awareness because without an observer the Universe might not exist at all.

That's a tough one, Toon. One the one hand, I don't see how mankind can defeat Mother Nature, we can see how wise and stable She is... And on the other hand, I don't see how mankind can ever have a high value of Her either, unless we really become manKIND, then maybe we can join Her...

Good luck!

There is no respite from nature. Nature seeks balance in all things, man seeks to change nature, nature will win every time. I don't think nature's price tag is cheap, take a look at global warming which resulted from man's trying to subdue nature to his will. Nature wins every time, hands down. Don't mess with mother nature.

Love in all it's shapes and degrees of intensity.
Love can conquer Mother Nature - well atleast tame her temper
Love humbles mankinds' ego and our need to conquer the land.

Neither, you see time is the landlord here and when it is all done and gone only he will stand alone, because life or even being itself is only measured according to his well! So to answer your question, time wins over all.
