I guess I'm the only weird one here, but when I saw the name I immediately thought of the word "areola", probably not the best association. It IS a cute name tho and despite that I might consider naming my girl that (when I have a girl). Although I previously picked out the name Samarah :P

The middle name that I always liked was Elise. (Ariela Elise)

I prefer Ariel even for a girl. However, here are some middle names and their meanings:

* Ariela Athalia (Hebrew meaning "The Lord is exalted")
* Ariela Azalia (Hebrew meaning "Reserved by God")
* Ariela Charis (KARE-iss: Hebrew meaning "Grace")
* Ariela Cheryth (Cherith was a dry riverbed in which the prophet Elijah took refuge)
* Ariela Eden (Adam and Eve's first home)
* Ariela Elizabeth (Hebrew meaning "God's promise")
* Ariela Hannah (Hebrew meaning "Favored grace")
* Ariela Joanna (Hebrew meaning "The Lord is gracious")
* Ariela Michaela (Ma-KAY-la: Hebrew meaning "Who resembles God")
* Ariela Rebekah (Hebrew meaning "To bind")
* Ariela Shiloh (Hebrew meaning "His gift")
* Ariela Tabitha (Aramaic meaning "gazelle"; Aramaic name of Dorcas who Peter resurrected in the Bible)
* Ariela Zowie (ZOE-ee: Hebrew meaning "God is life")
