The other day my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time (I was a virgin, he wasn't). We used a condom, and nothing went wrong (it didn't break, slip, etc.) but I'm still nervous that I might get pregnant (probably because I've never had to worry about something like that before due to this being my "first time"). What really makes me worry is that I was at my "peak fertility" just a few days prior to having sex. I psyched myself out and went and bought PlanB, the "morning after pill" and took it within the guidelines (no more than 72 hours after sex). I hope I'm just overexaggerating all of this and that next week when my period is supposed to come, it will. But should I really be this worried?

When I lost my virginity my period was like three weeks late, me and my husband swore i was pregnant, I was really freaking out. The change in the hormones can also make your period late, so if that happens try not to freak out, I wasnt pregnant by the way. I totally understand about freaking out about that! You really should be fine if you took all of the necessary precautions. If you are still in doubt go to your doc and ask for birth control. Good luck!

I guess it's just the jitters, if u continue to worry you could actually have an effect on your period not coming on time. Just relax and see what happens, at leat u used protection.

You should be fine but shouldn't you consider taking some birth control & keep using the comdoms for STDs.Why risk it.It's better to control from getting pregnant than trying to stop a pregancy on its way to development. My point of view.

I think you're worrying for nothing. If your not already on birth control, make a visit to your doctor and go on it now.

No really. You used a condom and Plan B, it's unlikely any sperm could have survived both.
