Most people have an opinion. This is NOT to be confused with knowledge.
They cannot back up their rants with facts so they fall back on the easy but losing route... insults and ignorance and sarcasm, so readily embedded in the North American psyche thanks to mainstream television.
Ever notice how much of what passes for comedy today is based on insults and one up manships?
Rudeness is hip, cool, in. I used to spend up to an hour composing seriously good responses complete with links to back everything up and it resulted in more VN and insults than I believed possible. You are damned if you do and damned if you don't.
Also some people like to just come in here to flame and be nasty anyhow. They have a twist upstairs and this is their outlet. There are lots of those in here.
Sorry but you get what you pay for and this place is free.

Some people even answer questions with "I don't know" or the annoying alternative "IDK".
Now, you may look at that as they don't know, but then again, why ask the question.
I have found the answer to your question to be that some want the 2 points only and either can't express themselves or your legitimate question doesn't warrent a complete answer.
Remember, we are living in an era of instant gratification and me-me-me-mentality.

I agree with you most definitely. Being "rude" is the same as being an "idiot." Idiots have inferiority complex, and they flaunt it with answers very rudely. If one does not know the answer than one should not answer. I do that all the time. ;-)

I agree. There should be a new category for "rude comments wanted". Rightous and correct answers are always appreciate by the asker, but sometimes, the outrageous answers are funnier.

i agree but sometimes people probabley don't know whta to write so they make up somethin idiot ,mean, or rude. i think it's really stupid but that's probabley why.
