I think they are suggesting that their burgers are "nuked", or microwaved, instead of freshly cooked.

Hey Hon! The real answer is that Mickey D's WAS known to prepare their burgers, wrap them in the paper for serving, then place them in a "Q"-which was a high powered microwave. That way, the sandwiches were hot when they were put into the "staging area" (the place where sandwiches would stay warm until someone would come along and order). Nowadays, the sandwiches are prepared when ordered and the staging areas and "Q"s have been done away with. That's probably way more than you asked for, but as a former employee (about 80 yrs ago-just kidding) I feel the need to explain in the name of truth. Hope this helps!

They cook the meat on the grill and then they have it stored in a place that keeps it hot. Its put on a bun (dressed up to your desire)and nuked in the microwave and sent on its way.

Nikky has it absolutely correct. I, (my company) have done business with McDonald's for many years, and have spent a lot of time in their restaurants.
