Why are there some people who keep an abnormally large distance from others?
(I'm not talking about a healthy sense of boundaries.)

It's either their really shy and don't know how to socialize with people well, or they're misanthropes.

Cuz they're either really shy or they have some sort of invisible forcefield around them which prevents them from getting any closer than 3 feet to anyone. I'm leaning more toward the latter.
