Hey all, I am getting married in three months. I am looking for any good sound advice you might have for me. Please, spare me the "I got advice... don't get married!" answers. I don't care to hear them. I love her, period, the end.

Any sound advice?

I would say always be faithful and honest
Tell her how you feel about her almost daily
Compliment her daily
Do not argue over the small stuff
always find different ways to pleasure and excite your mate
Buy her flowers once in awhile not anticipating anything in return!
Just be nice
Communicate daily and always find us time.
Never rush into parenthood plan and then plan some more
Keep it wrapped until your ready for the life changing plan
Women love jewellery
Continue to do dating things even after marriage life dinner and a movie going dancing etc.
Say goodbye to some of your single buddies because well that part of your life is over.

Never go to a strip club again.
One other thing if your mate says go ahead it is fine it is a trap
so be on guard.

Always try to do things together as a couple!
Let her do the things she wants to do!
Never control her in anyway shape or form!
Be prepared to have no sex life it kind of vanishes a bit after marriage and the newlywed period.

First and foremost, always let God be in your lives. The family that prays together, stays together as the old but true saying goes. Never live with relatives or go to bed angry no matter what. Treat each other with respect and show trust in one another.

Please read the book "The Five Love Languages" by Dr. Gary Chapman. Discuss it with her. The book talks about how we have one or two primary ways we like to receive love, gifts, acts of service, touch, quality time and words of affirmation. Your spouse needs to know your primary languages so she can "speak" that language and vice versa.
The book goes on to say that we usually give the one we want to receive.
Read it together before you get married.

If you love her, than you can work through anything. Just remember, listen, share, and don't forget to tell her you love her. Make sure y'all know how each other feels, and never go to bed mad, or sad. Just because you will be married does not mean you don't have to try anymore. Good luck, and congratulations.

1st congrats.

The best advise I could give you is think of your wife as a partner. Respect each other and do not let others come between you.

Communicate always. No matter how hard it is...no matter what you have to talk about...do it. Problems get bigger because people cannot talk to eachother!

yeah nate................. don't let your bride eat any of the wedding cake. Scientists can't figure it out, but one of the ingredients makes the bride's knees stick together! lol

Congrats! Good luck!
