Be clear and firm. Say, "well, _______, thanks for dropping by! I have a lot to do , so I'll walk you out."

Just sit there and act uninterested in anything she says. Of course, judging by your details, this won't be difficult. When she comes over and it's obvious she'll be there for a while, get into a bad mood. Not an angry bad mood, but the kind where it's obvious you want to be left alone. Make sure the TV is on and when she starts in just stare at it with a blank look on your face. Sooner or later, she'll get bored and/or she'll get the hint.
Also, you could always pretend you're not at home or you're asleep on the couch or something like that.
To be perfectly honest, my unwanted company doesn't come through my door. Thank God for whoever invented peep-holes!

After she leaves, hire a reputable contractor to install a hidden trap door in the floor, like on Scooby Doo. Cover over it with a carpet and count the minutes until her next visit.

Best way is the truth.
It's so crazy that we put up with stuff like this. Just take your stand nicely.
Or, go over to her place more often. Then you can leave when you have had enough.

Just leave the room and go to sleep. She'll probably get the idea.

When I was younger, I worried over this.
Now I simply say I'm tired and ask them to leave.

just ask her nicely to leave when you want her to leave.if she rings before she comes just tell her that you're busy or something.it is very hard isn't it?. it's easy said then done.give it a go and good luck.
