Yes, now. It's one of the advantages of age. You realize they don't have to be the strings on a puppet, or be dealt with immediately. I just pop them into the pool inside, and look carefully to see what's in the mud at the bottom, or swimming around, and what's reflections. Then I can decide what to ignore and what to make use of, and how. Every "problem" is something we have seen for ourselves. Most carry their own solutions if they really matter; it's just a matter of pulling them apart. And most also contain some opportunity - if you don't restrict yourself to some wish you've defined in advance, that's simply not available.

well my now ex and i broke up while i was in the middle of taking a 6 weeks summer class.heck it was a bummer yet i had to think of happy thoughts like seeing my sister and rewarding myself by going to the movies with friends, hanging out with people that motivate you to do better which are my closest friendsand family.all i think when i have too many emotions that take over me is that i will be okay, that i will make it, that tomorrow is another day, that life is too short and that you will never be the same again therefore make the most of life.i also think that if you cry you let your emotions get the best of you which is not always the best thing; i woirk out, listen to music on my computer, MP3, just walk with friends, chat, laugh, hang out with my beft friend's twins, and bury myself in work since i can actually do something productive..but that does not mean that i am inhuman but rather that i can be all pulled together and if my emotions get the best of me then i can control them at school as well as home. my emotions of anger and frustration are seen in my grades which means that i am so determined to do something good that i put all my effort in what means teh most to me:family, school, god as well as friends

I maintain my composure with my emotions, and they are fuel for my fire. I use them to become more productive and to motivate me. Rather than letting them have free reign over my life, which I have done in the past and did cause problematic situations.

Rarely do I let emotions get the better of me. Sometimes, when appropriate I'll just let it go... but normally I try to deal with life's little problems without passion. On some occasions I'm lucky enough to be emotionally motivated to act, but that again is a rare occasion.

I like to think of my emotions as giving me pleasure, (& others, too). The three most destructive, wasted & problem causing emotions are hate, jealousy & envy. They have no "stars" to follow, only negativity. In fact, they are incomprehensible to me. I see them as scum on the surface of othewise clear waters. I believe in feeling our positive emotions as fully as possible. This isn't discipline or maintainence, it's just who I am. What can truly be more productive than joy?

I try and choice the right emotion for any circumstance, I find that all emotions have a place and purpose, even the dark ones. The most important thing is to use them constructively, and not them use you to produce dysfunctional behavior.

If they are very intense then they start controlling me.I let myself be controlled and feel the depth of my emotions. It happens sometimes that I think controlling my emotion is good.Being a poet I have to have good contacts with my inner self.I do meditate to find and understand my self. But I do have problems too.

I try. but it's very difficult at times. No one's perfect but it is crucial that you don't allow situations to control your life.
