It was completetly his fault. I have a $1000.00 deductable. My insurance company was going to bill him for the 1st $500, and I made plans with him to collect the ADDITIONAL $500 from him in person. I did that today, and then found out his insurance policy was not in effect the day we got in the accient (which is ILLEGAL here in Michigan) He did not get a ticket for it however. I am now threatening to tell the police that his insurance was not in effect that day. Will the police do anything about it at this point? Does that threat hold water?

Tedex it is clear you are lacking in both testacle possesion and basic level intelligence. I DID report it and am attempting to hold him accoutnable for his actions rather than sit back and do nothing as you undoubtedly would as a result of your effeminate, brainwashed nature.

Probably not, but your insurance company could notify the state.

Why would you want to harm a guy who just gave you $500 cash towards the repair of your car? Your deductible is paid now, and you should have uninsured motorist anyway. You've been driving for awhile, so if you didn't insure against it, the joke is on you.

What you're talking about doing is spiteful and vindictive and there is no reason for it. You got what you wanted, so leave the guy alone.

I would try and get a ticket issued against him. Yes, I would tell the police what you know about being insured. He should also get a ticket for that and he also perjured himself by saying he was insured. Best of luck to you. I really would not bother threatening him.

Why do you care about his insurance situation, he still has to pay for the accident. Let your insurance company do their job and just make sure your car gets fixed.

Good luck on amending the police report. If you have unisured motorist coverage on your policy, that will cover the cost of repairs to your car. If not....you may have not other recourse than sue him in court.

Did you call the police when the accident occurred? Then THEY should have his ins info. If you didn't report it, don't try to impress us with your threats.
Let the ins co handle it. it is clear you don't know what you're doing.
