If Clinton had started this war and this occupation in Iraq, knowing that Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9-11, the Republicans would have been screaming for his impeachment since the beginning.

I wonder if Repubs are ever happy in politics? They stole 2 elections, ignored warnings for 9/11, wasted our whole surplus, wrecked the economy, lost zillions of jobs, borrow zillions from China and other places, started a war over WMD that didn't exist and everything else and they still yell about Bill Clinton!

No, Republicans pulled us out of Somalia after a helicopter was shot down. They don't have the courage to stand behind a president of the opposing party. All they know how to do is play petty politics.

Your hypothetical is completely unrealistic. Clinton didn't have the cajones to launch a war. He stated many times in many different ways what a threat Sadaam was, and how he was attempting to get nuclear weapons, and even used the term weapons of mass destruction a couple of times. He even bombed an aspirin factory over there. He just didn't have the guts to actually take a stance. Very similar to the rest of his presidency.

If Clinton has done ANYTHING in response to terrorism other than minimal retalitory strikes that just ticked the terrorists off more, then I would have been ECSTATIC!!!
