If anyone has any advice from experience on getting into a good college and medical school, or advice for the career path in general, I would be very grateful. Currently Im entering my junior year and have a very high GPA, accelerated classes, and volunteer at the ER. Thank you

Keep up the good work. It sounds like you are doing a really good job.

You should try hard to get into the best top-ranked college you can afford. It makes a big difference when you apply to med school where you are coming from. Elite schools like the Ivies, MIT, UChicago, Stanford, Duke, etc... send a very high proportion of all their premeds on to med school. You would get a terrific preparation there, and will probably do a great job on your MCATs after taking their tough courses.

In order to prepare for college premed courses, do all the math and chem you can fit in. AP Calc, AP physics, AP chem.

Good luck. I think you will make it!
