It sounds like a Daniella Steele book I heard about. Could it be that? The teleplay starred the girl from Little House on the Prairie.

I thought it was just called "Anastasia," too. Also made into a movie starring Ingrid Bergman. But try this also:

I had a book like that and it was just called "Anastasia" - there may be others, though. Good luck :)
