No one knows what will happen in the 7th book yet. Some people claim to have hacked or leaked early copies, but so far they are all fakes.
There is much speculation that Harry dies, but there has been speculation about almost every character. We won't know for a couple more weeks!

Jo Rowling has only said that the books will, categorically, end with #7. That leads people to think that she is hinting at Harry's death (i.e. you can't write more Harry Potter books if Harry Potter is dead!).
--BUT--
I don't think Harry will die because the prophecy states clearly that "none can live while the other survives." That means that Harry has to kill Voldemort in order to live. And he will. Period.

nobody knows if Harry Potter will die yet...the book will come out on July 21 at 12:01 AM =]

Unknown - she did say in an interview back in 1999, before the books became immensely popular, that the trio would all survive.
She has also said that two characters who she originally planned on surviving, ended up dying in the end.

I got an advance copy of the book from a friend I have at Scholastic. On page one, Harry, preparing to search for the missing Horcruxes, takes a bite from a sandwich and chokes and dies. The rest of the book is about 800 pages of "Hahahahaha!!! I'm the richest woman in England!!! Hahahahaha!!!"
Of course this isn't true. Wait for the book.

I think that, in the end, he will be killed by Voldemort, and this will also kill Voldemort because Harry is the last horcrux.

apparently JKR started crying when she was writing one of the last chapters, so someone important dies!! i think it's ron who dies, but that might not happen....
can't wait til #7 comes out!!!!!! =]

no one knows but her husband. he is the only person who kows everything. although it is confirmed that 2 major characters will die. tihs site has more info
