we have been divorced for a year now, i have made several positive changes in my life since, changes that she wanted me to do and i did them for me....not for her to grow and mature. recently i have found a lady now that i enjoy spending time with, not sure if my ex knows about her or not, but out of the blue my ex. has called and texted me about getting together for a movie and cooking dinner for me. i have declined, but now she is asking to come over to my house. what could this mean? and why now?

If you have no intentions of going back to her, you better nip this is the butt right now. She's seen the changes you've made, and is now thinking twice about leaving you. Don't lead her on, not even one little suttle thing that suggests you may want her back. That's not fair to her. Oh, and unlike what someone else said...don't give her sex. You do not have a booty call with someone you have had an emotional sex experience with before. It is impossible to do that without falling back into old feelings and memories. It would be bad for both of you.

You might be handiest obligated to pay little one help that was courtroom ordered---if you wife didn't ask for upkeep when you decree used to be finalized that is her and her attorneys fault. If however she was granted maintence (spousal aid) she can't go into court docket and ask for more $$$ little one aid is court mandated and calculated for your earnings and is court ordered for the support of the child---it is not meant to aid the x-spouse in all her wants and needs. It's to make sure your child has safe haven, garb, and so forth. It isn't intended as a method for the x-wife to give up her job--and turn out to be a house sofa queen! Her illness shouldn't be your hindrance---but when her illness is really unhealthy---then take her back to court and and acquire custody of your youngster because of her well being problems!

She is probably lonely and thinks you will give in to her. I would ignore her. If you do not have any kids, there should be no reason to communicate with her. People break up for a reason. Very few times does the relationship actually work the second time around.

because you always want what you can't have...and her knowing that there is someone else in your life is probably driving her crazy cause that means that you aren't pining away for HER....
jsut remember...breaking up is hard to do...especially the 2nd time around.you've got it going on now with the changes you've made andwhe doesn't neccessarily wnat you back but maybe just doesn't want anyone to have you...
women are strange that way sometimes...msut be the hormones!

good luck with your new life...keep your eyes on the road ahead of you. the past is jsut that...the past.

She's decided the grass was greener on the former side of the fence and wants to go back.

It's up to you really, but if she was the initiator of the divorce, then she's not showing signs of great staying power. Avoid.

Quit snivelling you crybaby.....tell her to get lost. You've established something quite nice for yourself. Are you telling me you'll stupidly throw all of that away because you don't know what to do? Who gives a good goddamn 'what it means' and 'why now'.
It shouldn't matter in the least.

Jesus...some of you people are so helpless its almost criminal.
