That is called a trackball. Here is one made by Dell:

You are looking for something called a Track Ball. Like all mice, not all track balls are made the same. Stop by your local computer store and check out the mice. My favorite that I still use from time to time is the Logitech Marble Mouse

I dont use a mouse very oftentimes...I easily have a working laptop or computing device, yet I do very own a mouse that like yours is in simple terms black and white. in spite of the undeniable fact that it fairly is cool coz it would not have a ball below, in ordinary terms an excellent pink lazer gentle on the backside! Woooooowwww!!!

They do sell them, but you should look at 'online' sites first, to see if any of the 'big stores' like Best Buy or Fry's sell them ... and 'write the online numbers down' to take with you to the store, in case they don't have any in stock or you get a 'clerk' who doesn't understand you. Printing out a 'picture' of the mouse type you want would make the 'search' even easier ...

I have one of those and personally I don't like it very much. But if you like it you can just get it at any computer store, or e-bay. They are really all over the place.
