Air signs people: What don't you like about us Scorpios?

Question

I'm a Scorpio, and with a Leo ascendant no less, so I guess I'm what you'd call self-obsessed. And being that way I have noticed , that Libras, Geminis and (most of all) Aquarius, do not like me. I'm not talking about romantic relationships with these people, cause that's a different deal. Just social acquantainces. People from these signs seem very uneasy around me. I make them feel uncomfortable I think. Especially the women. They give me these looks like I'm speaking a different language or something.I don't get why. I get along with earth, fire and water signs just fine. And why do I bother? Well I wouldn't but it's just that I have to work with so many of them. All my work collegues and bosses so far have been of these signs. It must be some bad karma. So this question goes to the air signs outhere...If you don't like Scorpios, what is it about them that you find so appaling?

As a matter of fact, I didn't believe in it until I read my first book on astrology. And then I realised that it made a lot of sense. And the more I read the more convinced I am. Hi! I'm a Libra. Most Scorpios I know, I do like. Not a problem with them. But there was one Scorpio who I didn't like. Why? Because she stung me! I've read that Scorpios, in general, are very emotional and dark and can feel threatened at the drop of a hat. That was the case with this girl. She was in a dysfunctional marriage (with a Taurus, I believe?), and I was dating her friend (an Aquarius). She always liked to tell me how I didn't know anything about men, because I had never been married to one. And I wouldn't always sympathize with her. Like most Libras, when her and her husband or my boyfriend at the time would start fighting, I would be able to see both sides of the story and try to come up with a compromise. She didn't like that and interpretted it as me turning against her. So she kept telling my boyfriend that he deserved better than me and should try dating other girls. She'd throw these other girls at him. Eventually, due to her incessant pushing, he did break up with me. After that, she would come to me and tell me what a horrible person he was for doing so and that I was the greatest girl she ever found for him. Yeah, she was prickly. I'm no longer friends with her. But yeah, I'm afraid of the scorpion sting. Most of my Scorpio friends haven't stung me, but I think that logic (of air signs) versus the emotion (of water signs) is what causes some air signs not to like Scorpio. Frankly, Cancers tick me off more.

I'm an Aquarian and ironically my best friend is a Scorpio. For the most part, we get along great but when we have gotten into spats it's always been because she's blurted out something hurtful without thinking about it. For instance, one time she told me that Gabrielle Union is pretty for a dark-skinned girl. I'm a dark-skinned girl and she's Asian. That's one example of many. I can say that she's always been quick to apologize though. That's where my problem lies with most Scorpios. The bluntness without tact or consideration for anyone's feelings. My best friend is what I call a "mild" Scorpio compared to my encounter with others. My ex was a Scorpio and would never understand the words "you hurt my feelings when you said_______". I don't think that he would intentionally try to be mean but he would joke about how run down my car was (he didn't even have one), tell me my hair looked horrible, and one time he even told me that he wished I had a ghetto booty because mine isn't big enough. To him this was just voicing an honest observation but to me he was being an insensitive asshole. So I guess the problem is have with most (not all) Scorpios is that they just say whatever comes to mind whether it hurts a person's feelings or not. Then when the other person says something hurtful back they get mad saying that they were just playing and that I'm wrong for hurting them. Oh yeah, sometimes y'all can be very distant and off in your own worlds. That's fine when we're just hanging out but it's annoying when you're in the middle of a conversation and hear "Oh, what were you saying. I wasn't paying attention." Well those are all my grievances. Feel free to throw some back at me about Aquarians. It's only fair.

I am a Aquarius Female, My Oldest brother and his daughter are both Scorpio's and I know a few other Scorpio females, but to be honest with you, I find Scorpio ppl a little aggravating/annoying and most are very big liars and are extremely talkative.

Aquarius & Scorpio Friendship Compatibility:

Both Scorpio and Aquarius can be difficult and opinionated. They like things the way they like them, no questions asked. Scorpio is probing, delving deeply into the hidden meaning of things. Aquarius is modern and does not enjoy detail. Scorpio will find Aquarius exciting, yet may feel frustrated trying to penetrate this revolutionary's mind. Aquarius will not appreciate the possessiveness of a stinging Scorpion or the amount of attention they require, but they will find the intensity Scorpio provides to be a great support.

You know, I always thought it was fire signs who had problem with scorpios, Im an Aries, and honestly, although Im sure you´re an excellent person its like an inmediate recoiling reaction, I can generally pick out female scorpios within the first 5 minutes. For me it´s always been like trying to get two magnets together. Ive always found scorpios cunniving, deceitful for the most, underhanded and hipocritical. Also, the fact they think they can just say anything without any thought to the people who surround them is beyond me. A few years back I made an exception from my "stay away from female scorpios rule" and I allowed this one girl in my life, we became real close friends or so I thought, she ended up betraying me, talking to strangers she just met about my personal life, my feelings and such. I will never forgive her, specially after I decided to break my rule because she was going through a rough patch in her life, (she had just broken up with her boyfriend so I tried to help her out), but the rumors she spread almost broke me and MY BOYFRIEND up. Needless to say, the rule will never be broken again. Sorry.

I am a Leo. One thing I do not like about some Scorpios are that they do not forget about the incident and they might not forgive you about it. Most of the Scorpio people that I know are very nice and friendly.

A lot of my good friends are Scorpios, and I get along fine with them. Though there tends to be times when I don't because them because they can become stubborn, and they can be secretive....and they hold grudges...im an Aquarius
