I'm a researcher so I feel no need to ask questions. The one time I did, the question I asked since it's pretty anonymous on here, was "what do you do for a living, and how much do you make"...I was met with nothing but smartass answers, no one would say, and some were right down rude and nasty!...so never again.

Because a lot of questions on here don't need to be asked and can easily be looked up. If I want to know song lyrics, I'll google it. Its so much faster than waiting for someone to give me the answer.

Because sometimes the questions that you want to answer are coming so fast, that you don't have time to think of any questions to ask. Then there's also the thing of wondering if anyone will answer your questions . . .

Some people are only in it for the points and don't care to answer questions. Others feel that if they truly want to know something they could always research it themselves. it's a shame really as you miss out on what the people have to say and you miss out on an opportunity to get to know other people as well.

Well I end up using the search option most of the times. If the answer is already there I just don't ask.

I do ask a few, just that if I ask too many my status as the "Answer Queen" will be dampened.
