Hey there. I'm a stranger and I gave you a star. I like this question; it got me thinking about the reason I am here on this board. And I came to the conclusion that it is the answers and new ideas that I really look for – it doesn’t matter who’s the one answering. Anybody at all could have a good opinion, not just my friends.

I like it when my contacts answer my questions, sure, but I cannot expect them to answer every time, can I? I'm not the only contact they have, so I wouldn't impose a cardinal rule that my contacts have to answer my every question. And likewise, I couldn't possibly answer all of the questions my contacts posted.

And I love it when new people answer my questions. Makes one appreciate the diversity of opinions and ideas from the world over, doesn’t it?

As long as Homeland Security or the IRS isn't answering my questions I am ahead of the game. Now that my twins are older(10) I find my self getting preempted from the computer. It is harder for me to keep up. I am always glad to hear from new people. Most are well meaning, but way too literal. However there are a few who every now and then surprise me and come back to answer more. Those are the ones who make my day, along with the ones I recognize and look forward to seeing their answers posted. I also realize that we all have lives apart from Yahoo. I am not upset when people don't respond. I know it is just real life imposing its demands.

I honestly prefer some answers over none even if they are not my contacts. I will admit, though, that I have more fun reading the answers from my contacts. So many of my contacts are such amazing answerers!! I love it when they answer! It makes things fun, but then I have a really hard time choosing a best answer, because they are all so good. So I guess it's a catch 22. lol ;)

I'm not back but I;ll answer this one anyways.
It's the same scenario as with friends on 360. I always tried to read the blogs and post a reply if nothing more than to say hello.
But like everything else here in yahoo, it has gotten out of hand. Too many friends to look after and send replies to.
I then only replied or answered questions that appealed to me. The fun stuff, the zany stuff - provided of course, I could give a smart-assed answer....hehe

I am sort of on a hiatus on here now and it really feels great. I check in now and then but that's it.

Hope you are well Dee and enjoying your summer.

I think I'm just happy that people answered. If not many people answered and none of my contacts did then I feel a lil bit bummed but don't really care too much about it.

So you are saying you want me to leave.

Sniffle, sniffle.

I see.

I can tell when I am not welcome.

Oh the humanity.

Good bye cruel world.

I guess if I ever asked a question or had a contact it might bother me but I rely on the kindness of strangers, and the stranger the better.

I think I'm just happy to have answers...although sometimes I wonder why certain contacts don't stop by. When mostly strangers answer, I just look at it as an opportunity for more contacts. : )

Sometimes. But most of the contacts that I keep in touch with answer my questions regularly *wink. But not all. I also don't ask that many questions so maybe they don't look for them.
I answer a lot of people whom are my contacts who don't answer mine. But I don't think it's personal though, There are just so many people out here that it might be impossible to see every question from a contact.

I do get a little bummed out that my contacts who are supposed to be my friends don't answer my questions. Although I am grateful that I get answers even if they are from people who aren't in my contacts network. But then again at the same time i realize that my friends are busy as well.
