The dolphin’s body, except for pectoral fins, dorsal fin, and tail flukes is well insulated by a thick blubber layer. The blubber is used to insulate and protect the dolphin's core and internal structures. The blubber also holds in heat to maintain the dolphin's core body temperture and provdes the dolphin with a streamlined shape that aids in swimming.

The biological makeup of a dolphin is very different from that of a human. If humans spent 100% of their time in the water swimming they would develop adaptive qualities that woudl make them more suited that that lifestyle. Dolphins are built for their environment, just like we are.
