I am not sayin the background, I juss want a picture. But i do not kno how to.
Do u have to upload it???

Are you saying the "Channel Icon"? You can't. You'll first need to upload a video. Once you have it up, the "picture" that will be displayed there is taken from the middle section of the video.
like, for instance, if your video length is 4mins, the screenshot that will be taken from that video is the one that runs at 2mins (the middle part). :)

No it has to be a video.
If you wanted you could make a video with only that picture on Windows Movie Maker. Make it like 5 seconds.
Then select that video for your Profile Icon.
You have to upload it as a video.

you COULD just make a video thats about 3 seconds long with 1 pic or sumthing, I've seen lots of videos of people doing that cause they only want a channel icon, if thats what you want then try that, if not, youtube isn't for Pics, its for videos,there is no way to upload pics other than doing that.

youtube is for videos, not pictures. use flickr, or another service to post pictures
