My ten year old asked me if the president's children had any semi-offical title similar to his wife's "First Lady" title. Is there any offical way to refer to the presients' offsping. other than "the presidents son" or "the presidents daughter" - historic or otherwise...

I don't see the "First Children" title fitting on a 20-something year old adult, but I see the theory behind it and that is a good question.

It's absolutely can't be the "1st Children", because that child can be anyone's. It's not refer to THAT "1st Lady". The "1st Lady" is refer to the President's status, he's the highest so with The Presiden's offspring must based on the President's.

Maybe if they were the President's step-children we might call the "first children" but as they are the President's I would say children would suffice.
