I absolutely love Italy and Italians....

I and my wife travelled in Italy for about 10 days by car. From Milano /Lake Como, to Venice from there down to Tuscany- Florence/ San Gimignano, Sienna, Pisa down to Rome..

I will never forget the gentle intoxicating breeze of San Giminano- full of wonderful aromas..

Such warm people and incredible food. Even on highway stops you can eat superb food for reasonable prices... Try that in USA... And What you will get is a choice of Mcdonalds or Burgerking... :-(

My driving experience in Italy was superb, big trucks always on the slow lane except when passing...

I live in New York and i could not believe this at all...

Even in Rome the lack of horn sound was amazing...

We arrived MIlan at lunch time and we couldnt believe how exquisitely Italian men were dressed for work. They were like models from a magazine...with wonderful business suits and incredible color coordination...

I was also suprised to hear people in Rome rooting for Liverpool , when Milan was playing against Liverpool 2 years ago... It must a North South thing.. :-)

Italians are always helpful and always smiling...even if we spoke a couple of words of Italian..

I am a Belgian who speaks Italian very good. I have visited Italy frequently and feature obvious thirteen of the 20 areas. With strangers so much Italians talk the normal language. In small villages elder men and women are almost always no longer ready to talk it. I have additionally been a member of an Italian internet-website within the USA. They have been all moment or 3rd iteration. Most of them didn't talk any Italian in any respect. A few spoke little or no. I needed to chat in English with them.

Depending if you a women or a man, it's a totally different thing.I think, for American mens, Italian women are perceived to be hot in bed compare to Anglo-Saxons with frigid Victorian-Quaker, sexless attitude.

The visions of1950's,60's and 70's Italian movie directors like Fellini, Joe D'amato and countless others, gave a perspective of the Italian women unique sensuality and incomparable feminity. For old timers who were younger, after world war two,Sofia Lauren is a female Icone, a symbol of Italian beauty.

Italian society have no complex showing beautiful naked female body while American movies,in comparison, prefers to show female body when "dismembered" , in gored horrific movies(an other symptom of sexual repression in American society). In video store people rent more romantic or erotic movies than horrors.

They say "Italy have the fatal gift of beauty",then Italy should be represent by the symbol of a women. For Italian man, most European and American women find them attractive.

An Italian man is often dark hair, wich help a lot in a country with many blonde women.Blonde women have an attraction to dark hairs.

Although most of the time they tend to be more overweight(thanks to pasta) than Anglo-American men, they don't lack viryl qualities that women adore:They are very confident, emotional but tender, self assure, manly and fearless.

In general, Italians seams to enjoy life and socialize more than north-American.If you find them on the Internet, they are also enjoying themselves.

When I use paltalk, a voice/ip chat software, I always find in the Italian room people, old and young, listening to romantic music, singing their own song or sharing phone numbers.

If I go to American rooms,, immediately there is a separation of ages and races, they are talking about politic and insulting each other. You will find African American rooms, Senior between 50 and 60 years old, patritic room,etc...

A great American actor once says that a hard working middle-class Americans or Germans can only dream to live like a common Italian, only when they become millionaire.

This doesn't mean Italians are very wealthy with money, but they are blessed by a beautiful country with incomparable landscape and temperature.

Americans live for working while Italians work for a living.People in Italy don't wakeup at 7 am to work 8 am-5 pm like Americans does. They have longer vacancy and reasonable office working time.

Here in America we help Japanese and Chinese to defeat us economically and now we want to compete with them by Asian standard for work, which is impossible to accomplish.
