Great processor, great mobo, but like the other guy said, you might want to wai t just to see if there is a price drop. If you can't wait, though, don't hesitate.

Well its a pretty good deal as for now, but do note that Intel will be having a price drop in its new Quad cores in the 3rd quarter of this year and the new Q6600 quad will be dropping down to the same price as the e6600. So you might want to wait untill July 22 and see what deals you can get then.

Well the E6600 is a good processor at 2.4GHz. It was running at $315 at last Christmas. Not sure what the current price for the CPU is.
I have no idea about the MB. Asus is generally a good MoBo but I'm not sure what that particular model has to offer. You should have put a link to the tech spec's for us.
