I had it happening to ALL my Yahoo sites this morning. I think they were having server problems. They still may be in some areas.
In the meantime, you can try clearing your cache to see if it is YOUR problem. Here is the HELP link for how to do this in different browsers: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/settings/settings-13.html

Yahoo has been abysmal for the last 3 days, pages sticking all over the place. It's happened to me in Answers, Games and Mail, so maybe they have a problem at their end.
Other sites are fine.

Could be spyware. Download Windows Defender and install it and scan for spyware. Go into control panel>add/remove programs and remove any search programs and toolbars. Also, open IE, go to tools>internet options. Under the general tab and browsing history section click on delete. Delete all offline files. Delete all cookies. Click on Ok until youre back at normal IE screen. Close IE, reopen IE and try again.

You are not alone. It has been happening to me as well. It seems to have started right around the same time that Yahoo added those ridiculous banner ads to the side of their email browser.
I have complained to Yahoo about it but they claim that the ads are necessary to offset the increase in expenses that it takes to provide the service.
I told them that I felt that since I am paying for their service I shouldn't be bombarded with banner ads. I also said that I thought that it was hypocritical of them to provide us with all kinds of anti-spam software and pop-up blockers, etc. and then flood our email with all these advertisements that cannot be filtered out.
Anyway, these advertisements are really effecting system performance on all of my machines.

Quit using IE, it's junk. Download Firefox and use that instead, it's a better browser and doesn't have all the security issues that IE does. You can also import all your favorites from IE in Firefox.
Anyway, IE is probably crashing because of a javascript issue or something similar.

When you say "Sticking", do you mean "Freezing"? If so, freezing is usually caused by an incorrect shared DLL, or a lack of resources, I.E., low a memory situation. But there are other things that can cause this, so I'm just making an educated guess.

Don't worry, that normally happens when the window is not resonding to ur commands. This happens when the computer is too slow, or you are mercilessly running too many commands on it. Have patience and do one thing at a time

Get a new internet connection, or new computer. Erase all things you don't need. And take out any viruses or hackers you have
