I'll go you one better. We should be able to pick three best answers. It could kind of be like an Olympic system: Gold (10), Silver (5), and Bronze (2).

I wish that Yahoo would give us the ability to give out multiple best answers to as many people as we feel like giving a best answer to as there are times when I get a ton of great answers and I can only pick one and I feel as if everybody who gave a great answer is being left out.

Hey, you changed the hair - good job pal. Yeah, I'm trying to decide between two answers on one of my questions right now so that would come in handy. I will immediately send a notice to Y!.

I have had trouble deciding between 2 before and I've thought we should be able to split the 10.

We could give it the title, "Best Supporting Answer".

i like the belief of 2nd ultimate as you may have been inspired via extra advantageous than one answer. those with serious questions do no longer pick responses that are competing for backside of the pile (however I ought to admit the "fat penguins" remark became very humorous). it would be like be subjected to the undesirable "American Idol" auditions every day. NOOOOOOO!!!!

Great idea! You should submit it to the YA gurus, see if they like it. I also like Lou's idea - and I wonder why you don't get points off for thumbs down, but you get a point for each thumbs up. :-)

What's the point? Why would I wanna be number two when I could be number one or neither?
