I just had my first child in April. I had a period in May and one in June. They were not at all regular....approx. 38 days apart. On June 24th I quit bleeding and on the 25th had sex and the condom broke. For the last week I have been having severe lower back pain and migraine headaches. Also, I've been very very tired and emotional. This morning I woke up very nauseated. I love Cheerios but when I ate them this morning I literally had to choke them down cause they just about made me gag. I know that under normal circumstances the chances of getting pregnant the day after your period are slim but I'm not sure about after having a baby and not having a regular period. So how likely do you think it is that I'm pregnant....again????

You're right, the likelihood of getting pregnant immediately following your period is pretty slim. Your symptoms may be psychosomatic - real, but without a "real" cause. Finding the condom had broken may have set your mind into overdrive, and your fear of being pregnant could be convincing your body that's exactly what's happened.

Pregnancy tests today are sensitive enough to pick up on hormonal changes (HCG) even this early in a pregnancy. Put your mind at ease, or at least see what's coming, and get a pregnancy test. Or if money is an issue, wait until the end of the month/beginning of August and see if you go past the 38-40 day mark without starting another period.

If you're nursing, see your OB/GYN for a blood test immediately. Nursing while pregnant is a terrible drain on your body, and can have negative consequences for you and both babies.

dwoodall, your observations and doubts are oh, so eager! Obama's bestest and most recent reason behind his well being care plan (no rationing & plan will diminish expenditures) rings a bell in my memory of a dieter who says there are not any energy in a scrumptious 3-layer chocolate cake... for those who get up whilst consuming it. It's a adorable explanation, however be certain to shop for that man or woman the following sized sweater for the approaching birthday! For you newbies to planet Earth, the whole lot that doesn't exist in endless deliver is rationed. The final time liberals determined an enterprise was once so major that the federal government had to step in and include expenditures was once once they set their attractions at the oil enterprise. Liberals in each the U.S. and Canada -- presidents Richard Nixon and Jimmy Carter and Canadian P.M. Pierre Trudeau -- imposed cost controls on oil. As night time results in day, cost controls ended in decreased oil creation, which led to grease shortages, skyrocketing charges for fuel, rationing schemes and lengthy irritated traces at fuel stations. Freedom (making use of well being financial savings debts) now not most effective enables you to make your possess rationing offerings, but additionally produces tremendously extra merchandise and offerings at low cost charges, so much less rationing is vital.

I'M NO EXPERT! But I think you got it right about getting pg after your flow stops. But it's not impossible.

Part of what you are experiencing could be post birthing emotions and fluctuations in hormones. Best bet would be to visit a doctor and get to know exactly what is going on.

And as far as your personal activity - - - those who live by the sword (or condom) die by the sword. I'm hoping you are married, or at least in a firmly committed relationship. Raising children in a single parent home is hard for both parent and child.

But I'm not here to judge. Hope all turns out well.
