Yes, we are one year, one month and one day away from 6-6-6 and 8-8-8.
There is a 1-1-1 and a 2-2-2 and a 3-3-3 and a 4-4-4 and a 5-5-5 and a 6-6-6 and a 7-7-7 and a 8-8-8 and a 9-9-9 and a 10-10-10 and a 11-11-11 and a 12-12-12 every century.
Big deal.

Yes. It is the only time this year the numbers will line up like that. Next year, the "magic day" happens on August 8th, then in 2009 it's September 9th, 2010/October 10th, 2011/November 11th and 2012/December 12th (which, incidentally, is when the Hopi Indians predict the end of this cycle of the world).
And then we can forget the stupid numerology for another 90 years.
Won't you be relieved? I will.

It might be the day some woman gives birth to lounge singer Richard Cheese's baby. He set up a contest where he asked to impregnate the contestants (cut of date for entry was sometime in mid-October), and then they'd carry the child to give birth on triple 7's. The prize was cash, maybe some cd's, and the satisfaction of having a baby named Ace, or King, or Lucky, or something else casino/lounge-y, sired by Richard.

I think it's kinda cool and I know that 7 is a lucky number for a lot of people. Other than that it's just another day.

What most people tend to forget is how *insignificant* these numbers *really* are.
It's *really* 7-7-2007, which doesn't look all that special to you numerologists, does it?
The next *actually* numerically interesting date is 2/1/2121. And even *it's* not *that* interesting. (Feb 1 for us, January 2 for most of the world).
I'm pretty sure I won't be around for 2/2/2222, the next *really* interesting date-number.

It is the second anniversary of the London Bombings (07/0705) but that will be pushed aside from consciousness by Live Earth.
