crawfish can grow pretty big and live in lakes and streams, I've seen them as large as 10 inches.

Its possible that a bird or another animal picked it up fromn a nearby lake or stream hoping to eat it, but droped it in your yard.

crawfish look very similar to lobsters they are just smaller... if you have a lake or something around you then that is very possible... but there is no may a lobster is living in the woods hahahaha

I think I'd rethink my views on hunting if hunting meant I could go out in the backyard and wrangle up some lobster. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they're evolving, meanwhile you should contact all the science journals so they can investigate.

Do you live near a stream or anything? Because there's these things... I forget what there called but they look like miniature lobsters and they can be found in streams or creeks and stuff like that.. I used to find them to go fishing with....OK I ask and their called crayfish... so before you freak out that's probably what it is.

If you live near a swamp it could be a craw fish, but if you live near the ocean it could be a lobster. But i highly doubt it because lobsters don't get that far out of the water

Never saw a 8 pound craw fish. There are no trees near Area 51. You must live in Washington state.

crawfish or lobster ,they both are native to water and neither should be in your yard,lol......do you live by any body of water????and has it rained a lot recently....there is no doubt that the shell fish was lost and out of its habitat....dont worry so much-hopefully it wont happen again..........they definitely dont prefer grass to water,ha ha

Lobsters are marine only. Its was a crayfish unless someone was pulling a joke on you to get you confused.
