No no NO!! dont let this bug you. Its one of the best signs you can have for your devoloping baby. Babies get the hiccups due to pretty much drinking amniotic fluid, which also means they are taking practice breaths. This just shows that your baby is getting ready to use his lungs. My doctor said think of it as your baby saying "i'm doing just fine mom" And enjoy it while its still in the womb, not too much longer and he'll be using those lungs hes praticing to breath from for much louder things!! I am also 35 weeks and my baby gets them at least 2x a day!! Congratultaions on your pregnancy and best of luck to you!!!

Don't worry! My daughter would get hiccups like 3 or 4 times a day and sometimes they would last for up to 10 minutes! Pregnant women often mention feeling their baby having hiccups while in the womb and wonder what causes this. The exact cause of your baby's hiccups is unknown. However, many specialists believe that your baby's hiccups may be helping to strengthen the diaphragm muscle in order to help the baby breathe both in the womb and once they are born. In many cases your baby will have the hiccups at the same time everyday. Some research even suggests that hiccups are actually soothing to your baby, and help to relieve a variety of pressures on his growing lungs and organs.

My baby actually has the hiccups right now. It's a good thing because what causes it is that they are practicing breathing. Just enjoy it. I always smile when he gets the hiccups because for some reason it makes me feel closer to him. I guess because it's something that he can do outside of the womb too.

It is normal for babies to get hiccups in the womb, but I'm not sure about how much is normal or okay! My mom told me that when she was pregnant with me, I got the hiccups a lot. My baby hasnt had them that I could feel yet, but I'm only 26 weeks.

My daughter literally got hiccups EVERY day that I was pregnant with her from the time I was about 25 weeks on. It was hilarious! We could see my belly jump with them as I got bigger. Not only is it not dangerous, I really believe it had something to do with the fact that my daughter NEVER had spit up or digestive problems. It's like her little diaphram and esophagus were super strong from all the hiccupping going on in there. She continues even now to get the hiccups frequently (especially if she's been laughing really hard) and she's 2 years old :)
Enjoy every minute of it--you're not losing your mind and you may even have a healthier baby because of it :)
Congrats!

Babies get hiccups in the womb all the time. A couple of mine had them constantly! They say that it annoys the mother more than it bothers the baby so I wouldn't worry about it.

My son have been given the hiccups for 20-half-hour at a time. Even my husband would desire to sense him in there hiccuping! whilst he became into born he had the comparable trend. Hiccups a minimum of as quickly as an afternoon that would desire to final approximately 10 minutes, lol. Makes for amazing video clips....
