I have already taken 6 pregnancy test since March. My period is very irregular and I haven't had my period since may 6th(the beginning of my cycle). My fiance and I are worried that I might not be able to become preganant. He had a test done to make sure that he wasn't sterile(sp?), and the doctor told him that he had a high sperm count. I do happen to drink caffene(sp?). My period was mildly irregular before I went on birth control pills about 9 months ago. My gyn took me off of them about 3 months ago, and I haven't had a period since. I'm not even sure If I'm ovulating. I'm going to make me an appointment with my gyn just as soon as I can.

Thanks in Advance

You could have a thyroid disease or have PCOS. These are two possibilies that you may want to talk about with your gyno. But I would get that appointment as soon as I can because your gyno's advice is going to be better than any advice you get online considering that he/she knows your medical history.

Best Wishes!

Well, I do think seeing you gyn is the best thing to do right now. Your irregular periods sound like the trouble. If you are not menstruating regularly then you wouldn't know when you could conceive. That's probably why you keep trying and nothing is working. I hope your doctor can help! Good luck!

It could just be the after-effects of the birth control. It could be something more, but since he has a high sperm count, you guys have that workin' for you! I would suggest a fertility monitor. Although I don't have one yet, I've heard great things about them. It will help you, especially if you don't know when or if you ovulate. Hope this helps.

go out and buy the book Taking Charge of you Fertility by Toni weschler....it is an amazing book...my husband and i have been TTC for 6 month with no luck...after reading only half of the book(just bought it Monday) i know why, we were doing everything wrong!!!!

It tells you how to know when you are ovulating, if you are ovulating or not, and to determine if you are pregnant with out spending a dime on a pregnancy test!!!!!

It is great...I paid like $25 dollars at borders for it....alot less then i have spent on HPT the last 6 months, we are on our TWW right now...wish us luck!!!
