how do you put on the "live in love" leather bracelet?

i bought a "live in love" leather bracelet and i have no idea how to put it on.
please help me!
i don't get what the two holes are for.
i put the ends of the bracelet into the two holes but then when i tighten it the ends are just sticking out and it looks a mess.
please help me!
