I do. I have to convince them I am not into women at all.

I don't care what people think - it's just frustrating. I feel like I'm in the minority because I am only, and honestly attracted to one group of people.

I am told to experience women, or to open my mind, and etc. I can't do this. My mind and body won't let me. Am I wrong in this? Can my body/mind actually just "change" no it can't.

No because they know nothing, they think they do but are so wrong.

Some people just really can't understand how someone can be different from the majority. They insist that all people are really straight and that they can't know they're not unless they've tried being with someone of the opposite sex. Personally I think this is ridiculous. Did they try being with the same sex to make sure they're not gay?? I don't think so.

I'm not gay, but I've experienced something similar regarding other factors that make some people different from the majority. For example I'm a loner and I like it that way. I don't desire a busy social life and don't enjoy social activities. Yet people keep trying to push me to socialize more, as if that will suddenly change my personality and turn me into a social people's person. I've seen the same happen with young women who don't desire to have children (they get told it's just a matter of time when their motherly nature will pop up and get them to want children, as if that's something that they will ALL surely want eventually, etc.

You are definitely not alone. We all seem to get our fair share of silly people. ;)

I think I kind of relate to you. But I'm straight, and I hate to see people of another sexual orientation get criticized because they are interested in something different. I think some people don't have anything better to do but pick on people all the time, why won't people just mind their own business sometimes. I support you all the way, man. :D

I'm straight. Straight as can be. I happen to have a short spunky hair cut and got harassed for it all the time. I told my teacher, and he said they had a crush on me. My teacher let me down and I was constantly called a lesbian.
I still am from time to time. I have so much more understanding and I started the gay straight alliance at my high school. I think if people were put in that situation, a lot more people would be more sensitive.

no, I don't ever feel that way. I am Gay, but that is not my life...that is only what I do in bed...I spend a lot more time out of bed than I do in bed. I have no problems with being me, and in fact, given a choice, I would choose to be .... ME. There are times when I feel sorry for others, both straight and gay, that their lives are so conflicted...needlessly so.

No when I say I'm gay they believe me, till then I get hit by both girls and guys. It's really flattering... Although I hate being told "oh when you come out of your phase call me" or something about me like over coming homosexuality... that's annoying... usually when I get that I say, "if it ever happens and it won't. Good luck cause your in line behind a bunch of other girls..." :)

Not all the time, but sometimes when I'm at a bar, some drunk chic will come up to me thinking she can "change" me .... now that gets irritating.

No, I stopped caring what idiots think about me a long time ago.
I know who I am, my friends like me for who I am, and bump the ignorant bigots and haters.

Well, you're the only one who feels that way. I don't have to defend myself to anyone.
