any body have any expierence with The Law Of Attraction?

For those of you who have seen the movie "The Secret" and learned how to use the Law Of Attraction, I'd like to hear your stories and input on how it changed your life. I'm still working with it, so I need a little help from people who know it.

The reason why many experts (link 1) DISLIKE "The Secret" is that if you ascribe to the philosophy therein, anything that happens is your fault.

Raped as a child? Your own bad thinking caused it. Country destroyed by invaders? If only you had been thinking happier thoughts. Too bad. Got the cancer? Well... you know who to blame.

While it would be nice if thinking about things could magically cause them to happen, "The Secret" won't even let you take a fair look at how it works, because if you ever DOUBT the author, then you will CREATE that instead.

Anyone who requires you to believe them BEFORE you can get results (or even see them in other people) simply has no results to offer. Sorry.

Shhh,

The secret is that she is telling you something you already know and is compiling it into a movie with a cool intro that entices you but leaves you disappointed, all to make a profit!
For if it were truly a secret and also universal law... Wouldn't it not be known and yet free? Therefore, isn't it unethical to promote this for profit? YES!

She forgets the main component!

God!

The new age liberals replace God with Universe so that they can encompass all and profit from all.

Let's not forget, that these practices can take months, years, decades, even your whole life to come to fruition, if even at all.

The Secret is: She is telling you something you already know and is making a profit from it!
How's that for her own enforcement of the Secret Laws.
She was in debt, life in turmoil, read the book and decided to resell it. That's how quick her secret was made.. off of your dollars!
It's a sham!

Everyone who wishes for something and has it come true becomes a true believer. But most people don't win the lottery, find the perfect mate or have their disease magically cured no matter how hard they wish for it. If you're going to work on something, try getting some experience or education to further your goals, or work to make the world a better place. "The Secret" is just nonsense.

Raw attraction is based mainly on Sexual Desire... i.e. Sex Appeal....

It is true that a guy/girl can become attracted to someone in some way other than sexual attraction... however if we are talking about relationships (dating, marriage, sex, etc.) then sexuall attraction is very high on the list.

A very simple but powerful rule I use to determine if you have that "Sex Appeal" is to answer this question... "DO YOU LOOK BETTER WITH YOUR CLOTHES OFF??" chances are if you answer this question honestly and your answer is yes (not sort of, or with the lights dimmed) then you already have sex appeal and shouldn't have a problem attracting anyone....

i think the law of attractions is actually the same as the old skool philosophy of "think positive." the law of attraction says you don't have to try, but i think that is not accurate. like that guy that had a dream house and ended up buying it and he says he didn't even know. i don't think so! maybe it was subconscious, but HE did it for himself - it wasn't a gift from the universe.

so i say, yes, think positive thoughts, keep your goals on your mind, work hard towards them, and you will be rewarded. i believe the universe rewards those who work hard, not those who think about working hard.
