My favourite toy was Rupert Bear with scarf and lots of reading to do.
I also liked Meccano construction kits..they were metal plates.
Playdoh was also a fav..but it got everywhere and the remainder went black when mixed with other colours.
The smell of the clay was memorable. Girls don't wear it - not even for playin'.

Stickle Bricks. I used to make all sorts of weird things with them! I even swallowed one of those round red ones, and gave my mum a fright, but I'm still here to remember the fun I had.
Actually I just remembered Boglins. Oh how great they were, and well worth saving my £1 pocket money for 13 weeks!

I had a combination of legos, lincoln logs and various action figures and toy animals. Along with tonka trucks. We would play with them all together. That is if it was bad weather, if not outside on the bicycle!

Teddy of course. I used to pinch him, punch him and kick him. I can not do these now because I am 25 and he is 32. A father of 2 kids and he carries lots of punches these days.

An early 80's computer game called Astro wars, it was like having a mini arcade game in your bedroom. Hours of fun and lots of blisters!!!
