Any More Problems? No? ok
1)Circumfrence of a circle is pi(d) = 3.14(10) = 31.4
10 in. divided by this gives 31.84%
Area of a circle is pi(r^2) = 3.14(5^2) = 78.5
So 31.84% of 78.5 is 25 sq in

2) It doesn't look like any of the images are correct, since there is no way to tell where the points start or stop, but my guess would be the lower right one.

3) A circle has 360 degress so 45 degrees is 12.5%
12.5% of 128 is 16 ft

4) You can't figure this if you don't know for sure that the two lines are the same total length or if they both go through the center of the circle....if they do, then DE + CE = 7 so AE + BE must also equal 7. AE = 2 so BE is 5

5) Don't know but i would guess c since its the only one that's flat

6) Supplementary angles add to equal 180 so 180-165 12' is 14 48'

7) There are four angles formed, the angle opposite 30 is also 30. Since a straight line forms a 180 angle, 180-30=150, which would be the other two angles

8) I don't get what this is asking

9) Complementary angles add to 90 so 90-80 25' is 9 35'

10) There are 60 minutes in a complete circle and 360 degrees. 12/60 is 20% so 20% of 360 is 72 degrees

11) surface area? 6 sides - 2 are l*w, 2 are l*h, 2 are w*h
2(3)(4) + 2(3)(6) + 2(4)(6) = 108

12) cube

13) A prismawhat--? A fruwho--? Umm...d?

14) pi(r^2)(h) = volume = 500 = 3.14(4^2)(h)
solve for h = 9.95

15) What?

16) Who?

17) How?

1) 25 sq in. The central angle x which subtends the arc is 2 radians because arc length = rx. area of whole circle is pir^2, so sector is 2/2pi *25pi = 25 in^2

2) The one in the bottom right hand corner. Tangents darw two a circle from an external point ar equal.

3)the arc is 1/8 (45/360) of circle so it is 128/8 = 16 ft.

4) BE = DE*EC/AE = 483/2= 6

5) side of box. plane = flat surface

6)180 -165 12 = 14 degrees 48 minutes

7) 30,150,150 Vertical angles are =. Other pair are supplementary and = 180-30 = 150.

8) b

9)90- 80 25 = 9 degrees 35 minutes

10)360 degree in 60 minutes , so 72 degrees in 12 minutes

11)2(4*3+4*6+3*6) = 2*54=108 ft^2

12) cube

13) d prism + cylinder +cone

14)V= pir^2h so h = V'pir^2 = 500/3.14*4^2 = 9.95 inches

15) a

16)SA of sphere = 4pir^2 = 256pi mm^2
SA cylinder = 2pir^2 +2pirh = 128pi +16pih,
so 16pih = 256pi -128pi = 128pi
h= 128pi/16pi = 8

17) c
