Yesterday I noticed a small limp under my left arm! It is about the size of a dime. It is not red or nor does it look like an ingrown hair but it does feel sore when i touch it! Breast cancer does not run in my family. I also am 5 months pregnant and i have a doc appt on the 24th of this month. I will show this to my doc when i go. Just wanted to know if anyone thinks they know what this might be?

Don't wait until the 24th. Call your doctor today. It could be anything, but the sooner it is checked out, the better you'll be. (Breast cancer doesn't have to run in your family for you to get it)

Eventhough it doesn't look like an ingrown hair, it definately may be. I've had that happen a couple times, freaked out, and went crying to my mom because I'm only 19. She put on black sav and a band-aid on it for a few days and the lump was gone - both times. Try doing that, if it works then you have nothing to worry about, if it doesn't, show it to your doctor on the 24th. Try not to panic. Good Luck.

It sounds like a lymph node. They are very sore and can occur in that area. The good news is breast cancer rarely hurts; so the soreness is actually a good thing! They may do an ultrasound of the area to show if it's a little abscess or a lymph node. Good luck! Let us know how things go =)

Sounds like a boil or pimple that is either infected or about to come to a head. Keep an close eye on it. If it gets worse PLEASE go see a doc sooner.
Take care and let us know how your doing. By the way CONGRATS on the baby!

Sounds like a nasty pimple or boil, getting ready to fester, because of it being tender. What a horrible location.

Dear we have glands under the arm. They can clog from many different things. Please enjoy your pregnancy and don't worry about this. Certainly show your Dr. at your next visit. I have had these and they completely went away by themselves.
